Who are We
Young Lawyers Foundation is a youth led and professional Organization working on legal, policy and innovation in various sectors including Energy and Climate Change issues in Tanzania. Registered as non governmental and non profit organization with certificate of incorporation no. 115127.

It aims at enabling the community to implement Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with clear and proper understanding of what are policy and legal framework in different sectors including energy and climate change.

Young Lawyers Foundation is led by youth experts who has been in front line in the Post 2015   Sustainable Development Goals initiatives in Tanzania and who are part to global consultations on Sustainable Energy for All the Future We Want as a youth component cohosted by Norway, Mexico and Tanzania.

Young Lawyers Foundation is a member a member of various national ad regional and global networks including Global Energy Access Practitioner Network.
Young Lawyers Foundation has reached more than 3,000 people through training and conferences and outreach services in Dar es Salaam, Iringa, Mara, Mwanza, Arusha,Kigoma,Dodoma,Tabora SIngida and Coast Region.

Young Lawyers Foundation has a team of youth lawyers both practitioners and non practitioners in many parts of the country and other non lawyers who are aspirant of sustainable development.

It has 6 full time staff and 5 volunteers and other 5 part time staff and it has ability to get more depending on the project need.

Mission 
Peoples' participation in Sustainable development through intensive and sound research, advocating, sensitizing, lobbying by engaging the community and other stakeholders in open dialogues, other forums and activities through both physical and online methods.
